sugar

Sugar

We have commenced our commercial operations as a manufacturer of sugar from financial year 2015-16 from Upalave, Taluka-Phaltan, Maharashtra which is the second largest sugarcane growing state in India. We are operating as a single plant with installed crushing capacity of 7500 TCD. We are manufacturing sugar by processing the sugar cane.

Packaged Sugar

Our sugar manufacturing units and the farmers associated with it have always shared a symbiotic relationship to ensure high yield and high sucrose content sugarcane.

Sulphur Free Sugar

Sulphur Free Sugar

Sulphur-free sugar is cleaned by a process that uses phosphoric acid and phosphate salts instead of sulphur. In addition to being a safer and healthier option, this is an eco-friendly process that also enhances soil fertility. Sugar is the generic name for sweet-tasting, soluble carbohydrates, many of which are used in food. Sugar has been produced in the Indian subcontinent since ancient times and its cultivation spread from there into modern-day Afghanistan through the Khyber Pass. It was not plentiful nor cheap in early times, and in most parts of the world, honey was more often used for sweetening. Simple sugars, also called monosaccharides, include glucose, fructose, and galactose.

White Crystal Sugar

Our White Crystal Sugar is hygienically packed and undergoes rigorous and stringent tests to meet fssai limits. It is readily available in stores. White Crystal Sugar also commonly known as sucrose is white crystalline substance, sweet-tasting, soluble carbohydrates, many of which are used in food. Sugar has been produced in the Indian subcontinent since ancient times and its cultivation spread from there into modern-day Afghanistan through the Khyber Pass. It was not plentiful nor cheap in early times, and in most parts of the world, honey was more often used for sweetening. Simple sugars, also called monosaccharides, include glucose, fructose, and galactose.

molasses

Molasses

Molasses is a viscous substance resulting from refining sugarcane or sugar beets into sugar. Molasses varies by the amount of sugar, method of extraction, and age of plant. Sugarcane molasses is primarily used for sweetening and flavoring foods. Cane molasses is an ingredient used in baking and cooking. Molasses made from sugar beets differs from sugarcane molasses.

Ethanol

We have started our distillery in Upalave, Tehsil Phaltan, Maharashtra with a production capacity of 60 KLPD. Our Commercial production from distillery started in 2019 and our manufacturing facility is a Zero-liquid discharge (ZLD) distillery unit to produce ethanol. We have expanded our capacity in Fiscal 2023 from 60 KLPD to 500 KLPD. Sugar cane molasses and sugar syrup are the primary raw materials used in our distillery operations. We manufacture ethanol from Sugarcane Syrup, B- Heavy and C- Heavy molasses. The Company’s distillery capacity is fully dedicated to the production of ethanol which is blended with petrol and is supplied to Oil Marketing Companies.

ena

ENA

Extra Neutral Alcohol is a food grade alcohol. It is the primary raw material for making alcoholic beverages and does not have any impurities. ENA also serves as an essential ingredient in the manufacture of cosmetics and personal care products such as perfumes, toiletries, hair spray, etc. It is also a good disinfectant as methylated spirit. We have 75 KLPD installed capacity for ENA production.

Rectified Spirit

Rectified spirit, also known as neutral spirits, rectified alcohol, or ethyl alcohol of agricultural origin is highly concentrated ethanol that has been purified by means of repeated distillation in a process called rectification. Neutral spirits can be produced from grains, corn, grapes, sugar beets, sugarcane, tubers, or other fermented plant materials. In particular, large quantities of neutral alcohol are distilled from wine. It is also used to make homemade liqueurs, such as limoncello or cassis, and in cooking because its high concentration of alcohol acts as a solvent to extract flavors.

co-gen

Co-Generation

Our manufacturing and distillery operations are power intensive. We have, therefore, set up a co-generation unit to ensure and reduce dependency on outside sources of electricity. Our co-generation unit uses the raw material from our sugar manufacturing i.e. bagasse as the primary raw material. Bagasse is often used as a primary source of fuel in sugar mills. It is used as a biofuel to produce heat, energy, and electricity. It is usually combusted in furnaces to produce steam for power generation. This process of cogeneration facilitates the production of two forms of energy – electricity and heat. We have a co-generation capacity of 26.5 megawatts.

Fertilizer

Bagasse is another by-product product of the sugar manufacturing process. It is the fiber left behind when sugarcane stalks are crushed. Spent wash is the residual effluent produced during the fermentation and distillation processes in ethanol production from sugarcane molasses. Typically, for every liter of ethanol produced, 8 to 10 liters of spent wash is generated, making its disposal a significant environmental concern. Bagasse and Spent wash were used as a fuel source for our sugar and ethanol plants for producing renewable energy. We use bagasse and spent wash as a fuel for our incineration boiler for distillery and for the co-generation of power and thereby reducing the usage of fossil fuels and contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gases.
